I’ve always wondered how well that would work. Top Gear’s Snowbine seemed like very much the wrong approach.

There are spots around Chicago where they’ll do this, too, after a big snowstorm.
And I’m pretty sure they do that at airports, too. At an airport, you can’t pile it up next to a taxiway or runway (getting in the way of wingtips is one of several reasons why), and they can’t use salt, either.

You guys are both wrong. In the grazing acres image the agricultural implement is a combine harvester, intended to collect the plants you’ve grown and separate the grains from the stalks. The grain is collected in a bin on board, or transferred directly to a truck via that shoot, and the stalk gets deposited out the back in an even row.
Unlike the snowblower on the tractor, i t’s not at all intended for moving snow, but I’ve always wondered whether or not it could do it.
